How to add credit
You don't buy credit on this page. You add it inside Mediator, in the wallet. The quickest way is the Add credit button below (or any plan above): it opens the wallet, where you choose a pack and pay by card through Stripe. Your new balance appears the moment the payment clears.
Once you're signed in, you can also open the wallet from inside the app: your credit sits at the top right of the window. It reads "+ Add credits" until you've added any, so click there to top up. You'll need an account to pay, but you can keep editing a document for free until you actually ask the assistant to do something, so there's no rush to set this up first.
How billing works
Editing the document is free. You only spend credit when you ask your assistant to do something: redraft a paragraph, weigh an option, explain a change. Each request usually costs a few cents, based on how much the AI reads and writes. The cost is debited from your balance as you go.
When you start a document, your balance covers the AI for everyone you invite to it, so they don't need credit of their own. Whoever starts the document pays for the work on it.
Credit is valid for 12 months and never auto-renews. Most documents should cost only a few dollars in AI usage.
Refunds
If we charge you for something that didn't complete, or the assistant fails in a way that's clearly on us, email hello [at] mediator.ai and we'll put the credit back. Unused balance is refundable on request.
No card needed to start. Add credit when you're ready to use the assistant.
